A utility app to provide creative excuses when you are late.
JUST FOR FUN
There was no real problem here we were trying to solve, this was just a fun side-project that myself and an old colleague did on a weekend to sharpen some skills. We wanted to familiarize ourselves with a new technology and chose Firebase to add and store excuses.
HOW IT WORKS
We took inspiration from the hand-held Magic 8 Ball toy, but instead of getting a fortune you get a new excuse. We used the accelerometer so the triangle in the background (inspired by the Magic 8 Ball) would move. When you shook your device you would get a new excuse. User's can also add a new excuse to the database buy tapping on the ADD icon at the bottom of the screen.
